Each year we hold our annual “Fall Gala”, attended by over 350 women and men from Ramsey and Saddle River in Bergen County, NJ.   This year’s event will take place on October 13th.  This event is an evening filled with food, wine, entertainment, and fun.  One highlight of this event is the beautiful baskets and silent auction items attendees can win.  We procure highly desirable, and valuable donations from individuals, and businesses to encourage people to buy raffle tickets and try to win these lovely prizes.  Your donation will be used as a raffle prize either on its own or packaged into a theme basket.  All donors are acknowledged on our website and in the evening's program to encourage future patronage of your business.  You will also receive a receipt on our letterhead for IRS purposes.  We have not been able to hold this event in two years due to COVID, but we were able to raise over $40,000 for our Foundation in 2019.

The Ramsey Public Education Foundation (RPEF) is a parent volunteer non-profit organization that raises funds to benefit Ramsey and Saddle River students attending all five Ramsey public schools. Our goal is to enhance the quality of our children’s education by funding enrichment programs and innovative technologies that are no longer supported by local and state budgets.  We raise these funds through various events held throughout the year.  We make great efforts to have different types of events that will include parents, children, families, and businesses. The investment and support of our entire community increases our chances of success.  Last year we granted over $70,000 to benefit all 5 public schools in Ramsey, NJ.  Some examples of programs funded by our grants are: Character Education Programs in the 4th through 12th grades, School Musicals in Elementary and Middle Schools, Science lab equipment and educational programs K through 3rd grades, iPads and SmartBoards and Virtual Reality headsets for classrooms, continuing education for teachers, writing intensive workshops in grades K through 12.
