Styles 4 Kidz, NFP will host its Annual Fundraising Gala on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Nineteenth Century Club in Oak Park, Ill. We would love for you to be part of the event! Our organization is funded by the tax-deductible gifts of donors like you who support our mission and vision.

Styles 4 Kidz’s mission is to provide high-quality, compassionate hair care education and services for African American kids in foster care and transracial adoptive families. Since our creation in 2010, we have served over 500 children and hundreds of families by providing hair care styling services, one-on-one hair education and training, and African American hair care workshops.

The Annual Fundraising Gala raises visibility and awareness about the hair care needs of children in transracial adoptive, biracial, and foster care communities. Proceeds from the event support three primary initiatives:

The nationwide expansion of our programs for children in foster care group homes
Continuing to provide free educational hair care resources to those in need
Securing a second physical location for hair care services and training
