Westwood Elementary School PTA will be hosting a Fall Fundraiser with a raffle on Saturday, October 7, 2023. In previous years, our fall fundraiser has provided the finances to our PTA to continue to support and enhance our students’ educational experience. Thanks to donations from businesses like yours, we are able to provide our students with items that are outside of our school’s budget such as: flexible seating for classrooms, headphones for each student, educational book and magazine subscriptions for each classroom, digital educational learning programs and grade level field trips and retreats.

This year, the Fall Fundraising Committee is still working on determining the exact event, but we know it will be a large community get together with a HUGE raffle full of items from local businesses. This event will take place on October 7, 2023. Our PTA budgeted to spend approximately $1500 to put on this fundraising event and hopes to make over $10,000, with the majority of the money coming from the raffle portion of the event.

In years past, the Westwood PTA Fall Fundraiser has had great community attendance, some years drawing in over 300 people. We make a great effort to display the names of our donors and encourage attendees to patronize these organizations. Merchandise and gift cards generously donated by local organizations draw many people in and make this event possible and help us attain our motto of “Building connections… building success!”
