Description

The Deltona Panthers Youth Tackle Football & Cheerleading Association is a 501c3 nonprofit organization.  We are run completely by volunteers; our success is based on the hard work of these volunteers and the necessary help of corporate and community donations (i.e. admission tickets to local attractions, experiences and events, gift certificates for restaurants, gift baskets, any items which could be used for a raffle prize). We would be pleased to share our thanks and offer recognition for donations on our social media and with announcements during our event.

Our Fall Season 2021 event begins August 1st with weekly practice for football players and cheerleaders then includes at least five games along with additional playoff games.  Our cheerleading continues after football playoffs in local, regional and statewide cheer competition.

Last year we had over 180 participants; this year we hope to have more.  We serve three communities: the City of Deltona, Orange City and the City of Debary in Volusia County Florida and accept children 5 to 14 for our football program and 5 to 16 for our cheerleading program.

All monetary donations and funds obtained through raffles of in-kind items will be used to assist us in covering the costs of football and cheer game uniforms, cheer competition uniforms, football equipment, safety and training classes for coaches, referee fees, scholastics awards, Pop Warner conference fees, liability insurance, background checks and more.

Our future leaders need to be both physically fit and academically sound; Pop Warner remains the only youth sports organization that requires academic acheivement be met in order to participate; the Deltona Panthers is proud to be part of this program.  Corporate and small business donors who believe in the value of youth programs can help provide opportunities that will not only benefit our children but also our communities.
