To Whom it May Concern,

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Drew Zeek and I am the Deputy Chief of Falls Township Fire Company. We are reaching out to our community for assistance and donations for our 5th Annual Corn Hole Tournament on Saturday, August 20, 2022. This tournament serves as a fundraiser to help us better serve the community. We are a 100% volunteer non-profit organization.  Funds raised from the corn hole tournament this year will go towards PPE (personal protective equipment) for our members. PPE includes bunker gear, gloves, helmets, boots, etc.

The fundraising committee and myself started a Corn Hole Tournament a few years ago to assist with different fundraising goals.  As stated above, our goal this year is to raise money for new equipment for our members to keep them safe when serving our community. In previous years, 35-45 teams have participated. Teams have consisted of many members of our company, members from our surrounding communities, as well as some corn hole fans from out of state. Funds raised, were from each team donating to play in the tournament and raffles (baskets, 50/50). The raffle baskets have been a huge source of our fundraising.  We were hoping you would be willing to contribute a basket or item to be raffled. Each basket is displayed on a table, along with a sign that states what is donated and who made the donation. We have also had companies and/or individuals donate money in lieu of a basket to help with costs of the event. 

We are extremely excited for this year’s tournament and hope that you can assist in reaching our goal. FIVE YEARS is a big deal and we are very thankful for people like you who have contributed in the past! From the volunteers at the Falls Township Fire Company, we appreciate your anticipated help and support and look forward to continuing to serve our community.
