Be part of this inspiring celebration that will leave a lasting impression on young hearts and empower them to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

MANSFIELD, Mass., July 25, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Belmond's Wish, a remarkable nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and creating a brighter future for those in need, is thrilled to announce its second annual family festival and food drive, to be held on September 9th at Camp Maplewood in Easton, MA. This inspiring event, organized by the Schwartz family, aims to raise funds, collect food, and empower children to become agents of change in their communities.

Belmond's Wish was founded by a compassionate and determined 8 year-old boy named Belmond Schwartz, whose journey began with a transformative experience. During a visit to California, Belmond witnessed people living in tents for the first time, and this deeply impacted him. Motivated by the desire to make a difference, Belmond returned to Massachusetts with a determination to help those in need.

On his 9th birthday, instead of receiving gifts, Belmond asked for donations to the local food pantry. The response was overwhelming, with the support pouring in from friends, family, and even local stores such as Target and Walmart, who made significant contributions. During Thanksgiving, ABC World News Tonight got wind of the story and showcased Belmond and his big heart. Inspired by this initial success, Belmond set his sights on making an even greater impact each year, constantly striving to make his philanthropic efforts "bigger and better." The first year he was able to collect 1000 pounds of food, and in year two he quadrupled the amount with his very first Family Festival and food drive with 4000 pounds.

Now in its third year, Belmond's Wish is hosting its second family festival and food drive at Camp Maplewood in Easton, MA, on September 9th. This event serves as a platform not only to raise funds and collect food but also to empower children like Belmond to become change-makers in their communities. The festival will also include donations to other local organizations that are giving back to the community.

By participating in the Belmond's Wish event, attendees will be directly contributing to improving the lives of those in need. Moreover, their involvement will inspire and nurture the spirit of philanthropy in the hearts of young individuals. The festival promises an unforgettable experience for families, with a wide range of captivating activities such as magicians, balloonists, food trucks, and numerous other family-friendly attractions.

Belmond's Wish invites everyone to join them at Camp Maplewood in Easton, MA on September 9th and be part of this extraordinary event that combines fun, compassion, and community support. Together, we can alleviate hunger, create a brighter future, and inspire the next generation of philanthropists.
