The Mamaroneck Avenue Elementary School PTA's mission is to enhance the educational experience and well-being of every student within our school community. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our PTA is also committed to fostering positive relationships between parents, teachers, administrators, and students to promote collaboration and open communication. We believe that by working together, we can create meaningful opportunities and initiatives that benefit the entire school community. Through our various programs, events, and fundraisers, we aim to provide resources and support for educational enrichment, extracurricular activities, and essential school needs. We are dedicated to advocating for the best interests of our students and ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality education and a safe, nurturing learning environment.  It is essential to highlight that 45% of our students qualify for free or reduced cost lunch due to economic need.  Therefore, we raise money so all students can participate and benefit from these activities.  This is especially true for our new immigrant families in Westchester County, NY that do not have disposable income to spend on these "extras."  We want to make these events/activities available to everyone regardless of family income.  

We are committed to promoting family involvement and community engagement. We encourage parents and caregivers to actively participate in school activities, volunteer opportunities, and decision-making processes to strengthen our school-home partnership and create a sense of belonging for everyone involved. Overall, our mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to the overall success of Mamaroneck Avenue Elementary School by fostering a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive school community.

To achieve these goals, we are currently seeking raffle donations for our annual Family Fun Night and Charity Raffle.  This is a community event hosted by Mamaroneck Avenue Elementary School PTA where students and their families come together for an evening of entertainment and camaraderie. Activities typically include games, performances, and refreshments, providing an opportunity for families to celebrate and bond.  The charity raffle is the fundraising component of Family Fun Night, where attendees have the chance to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes generously donated by partnering businesses and organizations. The proceeds from the raffle directly support the initiatives and programs of the Mamaroneck Avenue Elementary School PTA, benefiting students and enhancing their educational experience.
