Sun, sand wedges, green fairways and a great cause.  It’s nearly that time again….time to golf!  Family Rescue is hosting its 21^st Annual Course Against Domestic Violence Charity Golf Tournament.  This year’s tournament is Monday, August 27^th at the Cress Creek Country Club in Naperville, IL. 

This year our goal is to raise $60,000 that will directly assist survivors on their journey to healing and self-sufficiency.  Your support of this upcoming event is critical in helping us to reach that goal.  We are expecting at least 136 golfers and more than 2,000 people will hear about the event and your generosity through our program booklet, newsletters, website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Family Rescue is dedicated to eliminating domestic violence in the Chicago community by providing comprehensive support services and shelter to victims of domestic violence, particularly women and children; engaging in advocacy to promote future system change; and encouraging prevention through community education.

Family Rescue provides comprehensive services to over 1,500 survivors of domestic violence each year throughout the Chicago metropolitan area through four core programs: emergency shelter with our 24-hour hotline, transitional housing with after-school program, community outreach and prevention program, and legal advocacy located in 2 Chicago Police Districts and the DV courthouse.
