Hello! I'm a volunteer with Foundations Christian Counseling, and I'm collecting donations that will be used for our annual online auction which opens on October 5, 2023. All proceeds will benefit low income families and individuals (adults, teens, & children) by providing scholarships for counseling to those who cannot afford it. Our Pennsylvania offices are located in Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Berks, Bradford, Susquehanna & Wayne Counties and include the cities/towns of Brodheadsville, Palmerton, Nazareth, Allentown, Macungie, Clarks Summit, Dallas, Dunmore, Wilkes-Barre, New Milford, Honesdale, Towanda, Pennsburg, & Reading. We also have offices within the New York, New Jersey, & Vermont areas. Thanks for your consideration! Dear Potential Supporter, I hope this letter finds you, your family, and your business well. We want to thank you for the opportunity to request your help with assisting hurting families. 2023 has been challenging for many of us. With the lingering effects of COVID and the rising cost of living, many are struggling financially, emotionally, and relationally. Foundations Christian Counseling exists as a non-profit (Tax #11-3675939) to help people struggling in these ways, and the number of families needing assistance to get through these difficult times only continues to rise. Each year, Foundations has held several banquets and online auctions to raise funds to aid hurting families in need of professional counseling. Many families and individuals who contact us cannot afford counseling, so we do our best to raise funds for them. These funds then help to offset the cost of counseling, thus reducing or eliminating the roadblocks to healing. This year, we are thrilled to announce that our banquets will be taking place in Scranton, PA and Galloway, NJ on October 12th & 19th, 2023. In addition to the banquets, we will also be holding our online auction again starting the first week of October. Although we regret that we won't be able to meet with all of our regional supporters throughout PA, NJ, and NY –we are excited about the increased accessibility of these local events, which will allow some new partners to attend. We are also grateful to see God expand the reach of the ministry in this way. Within PA, we are able to serve the local communities of the Lehigh Valley, Poconos, Scranton/WB area, as well as Berks, Bradford, Susquehanna and Wayne Counties…with more to come. Our NEED and goal is to sponsor 650 Sessions, or ($22,750). Items sold via the online auction or session sponsor donations will go directly towards helping a family in need.
