In February 2017 we started an annual charity fundraising event called “February Fun Fest”. We sponsor the event with our own funds. Everyone is asked to make a discretionary donation to one or more of three charities that we handpick based on connections to each charity’s purpose. To date we have held three events in Summit, New Jersey and raised over $14,000 for charity. With the help of family, friends, and local organizations, we’ve given back over $5,000 value in gift baskets to our community.
Charities have included Cancer Research Institute, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, YWCA of Union County, and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.Each year we have made this event bigger and better. 

The 2020 event will again be hosted at the Summit Elks Club in Summit NJ with 100% proceeds from all raffle and donated items going to charity.  Some other highlights of the 2020 event include:

• There will be 75-150 guests in attendance
• There will be a professional photographer who has donated her time
• There will be a professional videographer who has donated his time
• There will be 3-5 local food vendors who donate various platters of foods for our guests
• Charities will be in attendance and give speeches regarding their organization and cause
