Fifth Annual Fundraising Gala
Gala/Party for The Troubled Movement, Inc.May 08, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Rapidly growing 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, The Troubled Movement, Inc. is dedicated to encouraging and enriching teens and young adults in the Houston community and one day around the world. The 28-year-old Founder, Maranda Evans, created this organization in 2016 to reach teens and young adults (both men and women) using spiritual and educational programs, mentoring, events, scholarships, youth sponsorships, and activities. The Troubled Movement, Inc. has created a special program for each area of adversity including victims of domestic and sexual abuse, which she is also a survivor of. We have also partnered with the Harris County Juvenile Prevention Department and local school districts.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, The Troubled Movement was unable to have its Fourth Annual Fundraising Gala in 2020. In order to provide for our youth, we have decided that we will be hosting a virtual Spring into the Future (MASKuerade Edition) for 2021. This will include, a Scholarship Ceremony, a Survivor Award Ceremony, a Community Partner Award Ceremony, interactive icebreakers, and games, drive through dinner pickups, a special guest speaker, and a virtual raffle.
We are asking for monetary donations of any amount. We are asking for gift card or product donations that will be used during our raffle or items for our attendee gift bags (approx. 150) that will be available during dinner pickups. We also hope to see you there! All sponsors will be recognized with a logo and brief bio on social media outlets, logo on our website, event page, program, and verbal recognition at the event. Logos will remain on our website indefinitely with a link to your website. Donations are needed by April 25, 2021 to ensure program and media features.
