Candy. Costumes. Fun. Halloween is an experience that every child should be able to enjoy. That's precisely what inspired the creation of Halloween Hop.
Trick-or-treating involves language and social interaction skills, and the ability to follow a socially established routine. Typica. Halloween celebrations can be challenging for children with special needs, especially those who struggle with communication and sensory issues.
Catered to children with special needs, spooktacular fun activities await every child at Halloween Hop, including:
- Five stations with non-food treat options for chldren with dietary restrictions
- Five stations iwth typical candy/food treats
- Stations will be staffed by Center employees and corporate volunteers
- Magician, musician, Halloween-themed art activities, therapy dog area and even a quiet sensory room for families who need a break
