Fightstrong Foundation, born out of the resilience of Joseph Nigro and his family, strives to make a positive impact on

the lives of those battling cancer. On May 1st, 2021, Joseph was very unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 2B Hodgkin’s

Lymphoma. Joseph was so fortunate to be blessed with an incredible support system of family and friends. Our

community was so supportive that we decided to raise money and awareness for cancer and participated in the Light

the Night event for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, raising over $17,000.00. As we continue our mission to

enhance the quality of life for cancer patients and their families, we look back on our journey and the unwavering

support that has fueled our cause.

On July 29th, 2024, Fightstrong Foundation is proud to announce the Fightstrong 3rd Annual Golf Outing at Forsgate

Country Club. Building on the success of our second outing, where we raised an impressive $50,000 with the

participation of 171 golfers, over 220 attendees, and the support of 57 sponsors, we are excited to take our fundraising

efforts to new heights.
