I am a volunteer for a registered charitable organization called Finding Them Homes - James Bay Pawsitive Rescue which is based in Barrie, Ontario. We are dedicated to finding forever homes for homeless and injured dogs and puppies from remote James Bay Coast and other northern Ontario First Nations communities. Our goal is to assist in reducing the over population of dogs by rehoming and providing assistance with spay/neuter/vaccinatin clinics.

Since 2012 this organization, volunteer run and donation based, has successfully rehomed over 2200 dogs. We have a vigorous adoption process including application, home visits and spay/neuter contracts. We have a very active Facebook support community. This page connects the north and the south so that remote communities can follow the progress of their dogs and pups.

One of our biggest fundraisers is an online auction that runs from November 9-17, 2018. We are asking you to consider donating merchandise or gift certificates that can be put into our auction. This would greatly enhance the fundraising efforts of our charity.
