Building Bridges Developmental and Community Services (formerly Lonoke Exceptional School LEDC) is in their 52nd year mission of empowering individuals.

We are dedicated to promoting independence and acceptance, by partnering with and empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to participate and contribute within our community.  BBDCS’s mission is guided by compassion, patience, integrity and respect.

In 2020 the pandemic changed everything for everyone and there were no longer in person events and that is when the online auction was implemented.  We realized that the impact of the number of individuals and families that we were able to reach and the services that they were needed that we still do the online auction today concurrently with our in person banquet.  

Building Bridges is a 501(c) (3) non-profit serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. This fundraiser is crucial to our organization as it allows us to provide the most current services to each and every client, regardless of their disability or their needs. We provide services in Lonoke, White, Prairie, Pulaski and Jefferson counties in Arkansas and we are proud to have the opportunity to continue to serve our clients
