Description
This Fundraiser supports Mound Westonka Hockey Association and Orono-Westonka Girls Hockey. Our event consists of a community gathering (food, drinks, live music), a raffle and a online auction. We are seeking items for our online auciton.
Our non-profit organization offers hockey programs for girls and boys ages 4-15. We believe youth sports develop positive attributes including healthier lifestyles, self-esteem, fair play and good citizenship. There is a powerful, positive connection between the many great qualities of organized youth sports participation, good character development, better health, and academic success.
All proceeds from the fundraiser go directly back into the programs. Funds will be used to purchase new equipment, subsidize the Mite and upper level hockey programs, and allow us to continue to provide program scholarships and equipment to those in need.
