The Fish Lake 5K Festival is an annual community outreach event sponsored by Fish Lake Immanuel Lutheran Church.  It is held the first Sunday in May and is open to the public.  The Fish Lake 5K Run/Walk is a race on a certified 5K course.  The very scenic course winds around Fish Lake in rural Scott county.  The course is 75% paved and 25% gravel with one moderate hill.  

Funds raised from this event are given back to the community by supporting various organizations. 

Race medals are awarded to the top three finishers for both males and females.  First, second and third place ribbons are awarded to the top three finishers in several age categories for men and women.  Everyone who completes the race over the age of 80 will receive a medal.
 
This family friendly event also features a free Minnows 1/4 mile fun run for children, a silent auction, free entertainment and many other fun family activities.  A concession stand is also available.  Come join us for a fun-filled day!
