The Five Star Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament and Auction is an event that happens every fall, around September. This event is hosted by Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia, but Macon Volunteer Clinic is a partner in the event. The funds raised from the event and split between the organizations to help them further their missions. Macon Volunteer Clinic uses the donations from the tournament and auction to fund healthcare visits for our patients. MVC is responsible for contributing players, sponsors, and auction items to the event to ensure a successful fundraiser. The auction is a huge event that takes place on the evening of the golf tournament that is meant to spark awareness and bring in funds for the organzations. The better the items and value, the more money raised for these worth while causes.
