The Florida Wiener Dog Derby, Inc, is a Florida event based all-volunteer 501C3 fundraiser for local dachshund and animal rescue. Our annual event, held in conjunction with Tampa Riverfest, is scheduled to be held on Saturday May 4, 2024. Riverfest and the Florida Wiener Dog Derby, expect at least 10,000 spectators and we host about 500 registered dogs to compete in different talent and obedience based contests, which is Florida's Largest Dachshund Derby and gathering. For our 2024 Derby, we are celebrating 14 years of family fun and raising money for our local guest rescues: Skyway Dachshund Rescue & DARE Dachshund Adoption Rescue and Education.

There are 8 total racing divisions, 7 of which are restricted to dachshunds. 1 racing division, Wiener Wannabe, is open to all small & medium dog breeds. There are 5 additional fun contests open to all breeds: Best Kisser, Best Tail, Best Nose, speed Trap and the P-Nut Butter Lick. Any dog can register to compete! The Event is Free to attend and open to the public.

For this donation, we would promote your brand on our website, with a direct link. This would remain from the time you commit until 02/28/25. If you continue to donate to our event next year, your logo and link will remain on our webpage. We also do social media mentions of our sponsors with tagging, and your logo will appear in all our print & digital media for our May event. With our Gold or Grand Champion Sponsorship, you would get a 10x10 space with us next to the race track where all the action is. We could also purchase our annual t-Shirts with the Grand Champion Sponsor logo recognized as our OFFICIAL corporate sponsor!

Our fundraising goal this year is $14,000 as we would like to provide at least $7,000 to each rescue attending and assisting with the event. Corporate sponsors are vital to produce a quality and memorable event for our spectators, our contestants, our volunteers and most importantly, our donors who will help us achieve and exceed our goal.

If you are unable to fill our Grand Champion or Gold Leader sponsorship, we would humbly and happily accept a gift card which we could place in a business themed raffle basket.
