Friends of the Jackson County Memorial Library's Annual Grown-up Spelling scheduled for November 29, 2022 is a community fudraiser celebrating our local library and to raise funds for special library projects like the Summer Reading Program.  The spelling bee consists of an evening of a great buffet style dinner, a dessert bar, a spelling bee competition and a silent auction.  The event will feature a presentation by a local author and a local judge will officiate the competition. 

Last year's event was a success with over $5,000 raised for our local library and this year our goal is $7,500. Partnership's with literary minded businesses and individuals is integral to the event's success and we are looking for like minded sponsors for this year's event!
