Feather Our Nest 2025: The Magic of Nature
Online Auction for Friends of Briar BushSep 12, 2025 12:00 PM to Sep 22, 2025 12:00 PM

Guests will step into The Magic of Nature at the 35th annual Friends of Briar Bush (FOBB) Feather Our Nest Gala (FON) on the evening of September 26, 2025, at North Hills Country Club. Prepare to be spellbound during an evening filled with hors d’oeuvres, dinner, drinks, festivities, live auction items, and captivating magical entertainment.
Briar Bush has undergone a remarkable metamorphosis over the past year—and thanks to supporters like you, we’ve created even more opportunities for our community to connect with the wonders of nature. This year’s transformations include:
- A new ADA-accessible trail, a renovated education building, and a refurbished pavilion
- A newly constructed butterfly house and habitat with ADA access
- Expanded animal ambassador enclosures with more naturalistic habitats
- Extensive native plantings, including over 100 woody species and more than 2,500 perennials
We invite you to support FON 2025 and FOBB’s efforts by contributing to our online auction, which reaches over 10,000 local participants through social media and e-communications. The auction kicks off two weeks before the gala, and we welcome donations such as gift cards to local restaurants and shops, tickets for experiences, curated gift baskets, specialty goods, and unique artwork. Donors will have their logos featured on the auction site, linked to a webpage or social media page of their choice.
All funds raised during FON directly support the Friends of Briar Bush, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Federal Tax ID: 23-7275154), and our mission to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to explore and protect nature through curiosity and scientific inquiry.
With your support, we can continue to spark wonder, promote learning, and make nature accessible for all—now and for generations to come.
Warmly, On behalf of the Feather Our Nest Gala Committee,
Karen Foster
