The Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware and Whiting Turner have collaborated to raise funds to build a playground at the Greater Newark Boys & Girls Club. Hundreds of children, annually, will benefit from time spent on the playground.  Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Play is important to healthy brain development. It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them. 

We are reaching out to ask for your support by donating an item that can be showcased in our silent auction.  The silent auction will follow the “Fore” the Kids golf tournament on May 8, 2023, held at the prestigious DuPont Country Club.  Auction donations are a cornerstone of fundraising for this special project for the Greater Newark Boys & Girls Club, representing over 2,000 Delaware youth.
