14th Annual Fore the Youth Golf for Charity event 

Why MARE is Necessary? Right this moment, there are 8,398 children in the foster care system in Massachusetts. These children have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect and to prevent future harm. 1,700 of these kids have a goal of adoption but no family member or identified resource that has come forward to offer permanency. These are the children and teens MARE serves. These children face the prospect of growing up in foster care, eventually aging out of the system with no family to call their own. What Does MARE Do? MARE’s work is focused on a 2-pronged approach of targeted recruitment of families for specific waiting children and helping families who begin the adoption process reach successful conclusions. Child Services engages in child-specific recruitment, finding an adoptive family to match a particular child’s needs; Family Support Services advises families interested in adoption and provides assistance to those undergoing the process. As of May 25th 2022, there are 601 waiting foster kids registered with MARE. Event Details This year’s event will be held Monday, August 22nd, 2022 at Blue Hill Country Club, 23 Pecunit Street, Canton, MA.

The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 11:00. Registration Registration for the tournament is $195 per player. This includes the fee for the tournament and a 'super ticket' that enters you in the 'longest drive', 'closest to the pin', and 'hole in one' contests along with 5 raffles tickets, purchase additional raffle tickets below. Need a foursome? No problem! You can register as a full group of four, as a smaller group, or as an individual. We will create foursomes where needed.
