On Saturday, April 20, 2024, Adoption Center of Illinois (ACI) will be hosting our 35th Annual Gala at Ravinia. This has been a tough year, and we need your help more than ever! Would you be willing to help with the donation?

Proceeds from the Forever Family Gala allow us to offer parent training opportunities, provide post-placement support services such as a birth parent support group, and assist with search-and-reunion efforts for adopted people, all at no cost to the families that need and desire this assistance. This would not be possible without gifts from generous people like you!

Since its inception, ACI has been a leader in the field of adoption and has been involved in the adoptions of thousands of children. Our mission is helping children through adoption, and we take great pride in never having turned away a child in need, including children with serious health issues and special needs.

Our programs include:

•  Traditional Adoption: ACI’s domestic infant adoption placing program.
• Agency Assisted: Services for prospective adoptive parents and expectant parents who have connected independently.
• Domestic Adoption Home Study Services: Home study services for prospective adoptive parents who are working with other placing agencies within the United States
• Waiting Child Services: Assist families in their pursuits to adopt from foster care.
• International Adoption Home Study Services: Home study services for families pursuing international adoption.
• International Primary Provider Services: Support for parent-initiated and independent international adoptions
• Outgoing Adoption Services: Adoption services for families residing outside of the United States, adopting a child in Illinois.
• Adoption Support Services: Parent education & training, support groups, community-focused events like our Annual Picnic and Holiday Open House, search-and-reunion efforts for adopted individuals and so much more!
