The New Braunfels Angels mission is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship. 

We have two programs which help to accomplish this mission. These two programs support Comal, Guadalupe and Bexar counties. The Love Box program focuses on holistically supporting and sustaining fostering families. Volunteers spend time building relationships with all members of the family by playing games, activities on in the community, sharing meals, and connecting, while also delivering monthly personal care packages (Love Boxes) based on the family’s current needs. The program is designed to increase placement stability and build an infrastructure of support around the home.Volunteers are matched with a fostering family based on location, compatibility, and scope of needs. This program requires a one-time-per-month, one-year commitment.

Our Dare to Dream Program focuses on one-on-one mentoring for youth (ages 11-22) who are in care, at-risk to age out, or have aged-out. Mentors serve as positive role models who meet with their youth to build relationships and empower them to accomplish their goals. Our tailored developmental milestone model equips youth to succeed and be prepared for adulthood. Our mentors walk alongside their foster youth mentee's by spending intentional one-on-one time with them within the community introducing them to new hobbies, exploring and cultivating their interests and by being a friend and an advocate.

Foster the Vine is our biggest fundraiser of the year. This will be our Sixth Annual Food and Beverage Tasting Event benefiting New Braunfels Angels.  Local New Braunfels restaurateurs will pair their beautiful and flavorful dishes with regional wines/craft beers/spirit venders for guests to enjoy.  It will be a night to remember at the beautiful venue, The Chandelier of Gruene. During our program, guests will be presented with inspirational stories of our work in the past year which served Comal, Guadalupe and Bexar Counties. Along with the thanks and continued support of our monthly donors, sponsorships and one-time gives, we will also have a variety of raffle gift baskets from generous donors in our community.
