2020 Fountain Gate Online Charity Auction

Nehemiah Community Empowerment Center, Inc (NCEC) will hold the Fountain Gate Virtual Charity Auction Starting on Saturday, October 10 at 12:00 am and Ending on Saturday, October 17 at 11:59 pm.

Every year kids in the community are in need of assistance and support. Each year the community is needed to step up and make a difference in the lives of our future. 2020 has set unprecedented events and needs of the community. As we all take a front seat view to the COVID-19 pandemic and now protesting in the streets for a better and brighter future, our youth need us more than ever.

People are looking for ways to reach out and make a difference. Help us create a better and brighter future. The Nehemiah Community Empowerment Center has been working with the underserved and youth communities but now more than ever we need your help to ensure the future for our youth and the community. Donated funds will help us inspire and teach preparedness skills to youth and adults in our immediate and surrounding communities. All funding will be spread throughout our various programs in our STEM Academy. 

 Our programs are income based and some of our campers receive scholarships to attend our summer camp. We usually request a small one-time registration fee. This registration fee covers materials needed such as camp t-shirts, robotic supplies, board games, etc. This year, due to the current economic situation, many households are struggling to make ends meet.  Also, due to COVID-19, we will be experiencing higher than expected expenses to keep our campers, parents, volunteers, and staff safe.  We will now have to purchase extra cleaning supplies, masks for the kids and employees, extra janitorial staff, disposable masks for visitors, and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Please remember, that all donations are tax-deductible.  OUR YOUTH NEED YOUR HELP!   Now more than ever before. All contributions would be greatly appreciated!

Here are some of the ways your contribution will make a difference:

·       $75 funds one youth innovator through Robotics Summer Camp for one week.

·       $80 helps feed a family of four for a week through McCray Outreach Ministries.

·       $600 funds one youth innovator through a full 8 weeks of Robotics Summer Camp.

·       $1,250 covers an IT certification through our Phenomenal Women in STEM program

or support 16 to 24-year old’s in learning a trade to enter the workforce in our Apprenticeship and Workforce Development Program.
