Franciscan Outreach has been a trusted source of hope and support for Chicago’s unhoused community for over sixty years. Founded by Fr. Phil Marquard and officially established in 1976, we continue to build on this legacy by offering essential resources such as healthy meals, safe shelter, and comprehensive support services to our neighbors in need. Our holistic approach includes three emergency shelters, case management services, a day program/drop-in center, rapid rehousing, and medical respite care, ensuring that each guest receives individualized support on their journey toward stability and overall wellness. Our annual Gala offers a special opportunity to recognize our dedicated donors and celebrate the impact of our collaborative work. Hosted at the Drake Hotel, this evening features cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a three-course dinner, and highlights about our organization in a setting that reflects our deep appreciation for our community of supporters
