Franklin Fine Arts Center, a Level 1+ Chicago Public School, inspires young learners through a high-quality academic curriculum enriched by ongoing, integrated exposure to the arts. In April, we will be holding our 2020 Annual Spring Fundraiser to celebrate our 40th anniversary with our 40 and Fabulous Bash! This year is momentous, and to that end, we ask for your support. Whether you have generously donated in the past or are just learning about us now, an in-kind donation of any amount is extremely appreciated.

Franklin Fine Arts Center offers a rich academic curriculum that boasts an exceptional achievement rate in both reading and math. In addition, our school:

is currently rated a Level 1+ school by Chicago Public Schools and has been for the past three years
is home to 370 students who come from all over Chicago
serves a demographic of over 42% low-income students
represents one of the most diverse racial and ethnic populations in all of CPS

We make it a priority to provide our students exposure to dance, piano, drama, music and visual arts. This is more than just our mission; it is about building our children’s future prospects and raising both outstanding students and citizens. Despite the dire need for the arts, programs like these are not fully supported by a lean CPS operating budget; so every dollar we raise bridges the gap between what CPS gives our school to run each year and the actual expenses for doing so. This includes not only continued access to the arts but hiring support staff, purchasing necessary equipment for our stage and classroom, and updating our technology to better teach our students.

We can only provide these learning and enrichment opportunities because of the generosity of businesses like yours. Thank you for your consideration in providing a donation for our event. There are several ways that you will be recognized at the event or school. All donations for our online auction receive:

advertising on our bidding site including your company logo
a description of your company 
a list of the services or goods offered
if offering a camp, lessons, or after school program, we would be happy to pick up brochures to be sent in kids’ backpacks
