We will be hosting a live in person fundraising auction on May 10, 2025. This auction is to raise funds for our warming shelter, and ministry building. We currently house men at the shelter, who were homeless, but have since received employment and are getting back on their feet. In addition, we also provide food, clothing, hygiene, etc to those in need. We have also placed 17 single mothers/fathers into housing this year, and assisted 23 families with rental and/or utility assisance. We at Fresh Start believe in a hand up, and not a hand out. We also covered 125 families on our Angel Tree last year for Christmas assisance for their children. This program is for working families only. We strive on being a change in our community. This auction will help up with our electric bill and overhead at the shelter, along with helping those who have fallen on hard times. We continue to do what we can to make sure that everyone in the community feels love and kindness.
