On Sunday, March 12, 2017 the Barry & Florence Friedberg JCC will host the Purim Gala Annual Fundraiser.  Each year the event raises significant dollars to help make an impact on the lives of so many in our community.  This year, we are honoring “The Queens of our Community,” Cori Caporimo, Penny Ellis, Maria Heller, Jessica Becak & Rachel Charney for their dedication and unwavering support of the Friedberg JCC.

We are writing you at this time to ask you to help us celebrate our honorees and to ask you to support our effort by donating a gift certificate or an auction item for the event.

The Friedberg JCC is the “home away from home,” for our community. We have services for newborns through seniors. Our camps provide over 1,000 children with 11 different summer camp experiences. We have 4 preschool camps for the youngest members of our community, school age camps including our theatre and art divisions and Camp Achieve for children with disabilities.  Many of our campers receive scholarships to attend our programs and fundraising events such as this one make it possible.

We are expecting over 200 attendees from all over Long Island and the New York area with outreach going towards over 6,000 people in our community.  Your support will help defray costs for our event and help us to provide even more critical services to the community – and so much more!
