We are excited to announce the return of the Friends of CASA Holiday Luncheon & Fashion Show to be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the beautiful and newly reimagined VEA Newport Beach, a Marriott Resort & Spa in Newport Beach, California. On behalf of Friends of CASA, we invite you to participate in the Silent Auction portion of our event. Your donation will help us raise funds to recruit and train CASA OC volunteers who provide a powerful voice and meaningful connection to children in Orange County who have experienced abuse, neglect, and abandonment.

Last year, generous contributions enabled us to swear-in 209 new CASA volunteers to mentor and advocate on behalf of youth in foster care. These CASAs are often the one stable, trustworthy adult providing support and guidance through the most turbulent time of their lives. Over the past two and a half years, we have seen the CASA waitlist grow longer and the volunteer numbers get smaller as we emerge from the impacts of the pandemic. Today there are a staggering 3,500 Orange County children in foster care in need of a caring adult in their life to guide them, hold their hand and be their voice. 

Our Holiday Luncheon is our primary fundraiser for CASA OC, and in 2021, raised over $525,000 in net proceeds. The Silent Auction portion of our event is always popular with our guests and is a significant contributor to revenue for this event. We encourage you to take part in this opportunity and to know that your donation not only helps to support a worthy cause, but also provides business exposure to over 450 discerning and influential guests.
