The Friends of the Bloomfield Library are holding a live auction with a professional auctioneer to raise funds to improve our ability to offer quality programming for the children of the community and the surrounding area. We are the only community library in the county. The Friends already sponsor a monthly story time and the summer reading prograrm. We also give a book, pencil, bookmark and eraser to each student that stops by our booth at a back to school resource fair in the fall. We are hoping to secure enought funds to have author visits, a professional puppet troupe and guest speakers that will be of interest to children and adults alike.
