We invite you to participate in our Annual Auction & our 10th Anniversary Gala on February 1st, 2020! A significant part of the evening will be our silent auction featuring art pieces created by local artists, unique adventures, sensational dining and shopping experiences.
Friends Western School is a small, holistic Quaker elementary school in Pasadena, CA. The Quaker belief is that there is an inner light in each of us. This idea inspires the ethos of support, encouragement, respect and kindness. A cornerstone of our philosophy is “Responsive Classroom” which is an approach to teaching based on the belief that integrating academic and social-emotional skills creates an environment where students can do their best learning.
There are very few elementary cooperative schools in the United States. FWS is fortunate to be made up of collaborative teachers and parents who are focused on educating children to be stewards of the world around them.
