Description

We started the Gina Putman Foundation after my best friend passed unexpectedly shortly after her 45th birthday in August 2019.  She had been in the music business for 16 years (her grandfather was country music songwriter Curly Putman) when she decided to leave what she know and decided to pursue her dream.  Gina was building her clientele at BBC Nashville when she passed.  We began the scholarship fund to award tuition assistance (building to full tuition being awarded) to someone wanting to do the same.  We gave our first award in 2020 and what began with just cosmetology is now reaching to barber and aesthetics as well.

We have an annual event the first Saturday of November called FriendsGiving where we award our tuition assistance/scholarship.  We raise money with our ticket sales and silent auction items.  We have different themes for our event every year and we also try and give back to the community as well.  We have donated to Lebanon Family Resource Center, Our Sisters Keeper, Champs Toy Chest at Vanderbilt Children's and our local veterans in Wilson County.

If you would like to donate to our silent auction and/or be a sponsor for our event, we would be most appreciative of anything donated.
