The Fry PTA works to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for children. Throughout the school year, we work to sponsor events that bring families and school together. We sponsor events such as a family bingo night, a talent showcase and science fair. In addition, we use funds raised to buy supplemental classroom materials and offer a teacher grant program for additional classroom needs. Our event is a spring carnival with a raffle/silent auction component. It is the biggest event of the year for our school. We have a carnival featuring games, inflatables, air brush tattoos, balloon animals and so much more. Running in conjunction with the carnival, we host an online auction. All donations to our auction are acknowledged in any flyers, emails and announcements sent home to families advertising the event. We also post information about donations on our social media sites. Our goal is to raise $10,000 dollars so we can continue to provide low cost activities for families as well as provide much needed classroom supplies.
