Hearts for Hearing is a local nonprofit organization creating life-changing opportunities for children and adults with hearing loss to listen for a lifetime. This May, we are hosting a month-long peer fundraising campaign in honor of National Speech-Language-Hearing Month. We are eager to fill our calendar with community partnerships and ways we can encourage our network to get involved in this campaign, as well as support local businesses.

Hearts for Hearing provides the first set of hearing technology to babies and children with hearing loss at no cost to families. Research indicates that ages 0-3 are critical for auditory and language development; therefore, Hearts for Hearing covers all out-of-pocket expenses for families of children with hearing loss aged three and under in addition to the first set of hearing technology. It is our goal that any child whose parents choose for him or her to listen and talk has easy access to services and support that help make that outcome possible so he or she can be successful in a mainstream classroom as a listener and talker.
