Youth Tennis San Diego (YTSD) provides thousands of youngsters each year the opportunity to play tennis at their neighborhood school or recreation center through our signature After School Tennis (AST) program. AST provides a safe haven, adult supervision, and positive adult role models during critical afternoon hours. Through tennis the children learn the life skills, which provide the confidence and self-esteem needed to confront the negative influences so often found on the streets where they live. Other programs include free Competitive L7 Junior Tournaments (J.U.M.P) which removes financial barriers for families who cannot afford tournament entry fees (avg $55).
YTSD also supports wheelchair and special populations by providing free court usage and adaptive equipment and programming (ACEing Autism). 

 
Our Annual GALA will take place from August 6-13, 2022 and it is our main source of outreach program fundraising for the year. We've timed this year's event to coincide with Billie Jean King Girls’ Nationals 16s and 18s held at our facility, Barnes Junior Tennis Center, on August 7-14, 2022. We would love to get donations by Friday, July 1, 2022. This is an ideal way for you to promote your business with the tennis community, and give back to the Youth of San Diego at the same time. We will promote your logo in all of our signage and Gala collateral materials. All donations are tax deductible as allowable. YTSD is a 501(c)3 non-profit (Tax ID#95-6095644).
