Description
Springtown Lions Club (SLC) is holding a black-tie event "Gala for Brilliant Minds". The purpose of this event is to raise funds for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. The foundation provides books to children from birth to 5 once a month at no cost to the parents and with no requirements to qualify. For an area to be covered by the foundation, a local non-profit has to sponsor the children that sign up. This is where SLC comes in. Our goal is to fund Parker county at 100%- that's $112,346. In the first year, we expect to have 20% enrolled at an expense of $15,577.
