Good Morning,
My name is Earl Abercrombie, I am a volunteer Firefighter with Garden Homes Fire Protection District which is a non paid 100% volunteer department that none of the members are paid from the Chief down to the newest firefighter. We are located at 3800 w. 119th Street Alsip, IL. 60803 in Cook County, Illinois. We are currently planning a Bar Night Fundraiser that we will be holding in February and we are reaching out in hopes of a donation. We are looking to try and do a raffle / gift baskets, etc.. for silent auction at the event with items that we are able to get donated for the event. We do various fundraisers throughout the year as we are not laid and have a very small operating budget. The profits made in the fundraisers we do all go towards new Firefighter gear, equipment, tools and station upgrades that continues to allow us to respond safely to emergencies in our community and surrounding communities. If it wasn’t for these fundraisers we put ion each year we would not be able to afford all the gear, equipment and tools needed to continue to provide these services without jeopardizing our safety.
