Gala-vanting Around the Globe: Mercy High School's 2020 Garnet Gala

This is a banner year for Mercy High School! In September we opened the state’s finest athletic facility for girls’ sports with an AstroTurf surface that is second to none! For the first time ever our varsity soccer team was nationally ranked this season and both field hockey and soccer had an exceptional season. We have also been recently authorized to offer the IB Middle Years Programme, a prestigious academic program that is generating applications from some of the area’s strongest 8th grade students.

This tremendous momentum has been made possible in part through the support and dedication of our community partners, Mercy alumnae, family and friends to our annual Garnet Gala.  Every year the gala raises funds for financial aid, campus improvements and other critical needs while celebrating the many successes of our Mercy community.

Last year, the proceeds helped Mercy raised $110,000 in support of our Mercy Girls. As we look to 2020, we have an ambitious goal: $130,000. I hope you will consider partnering with Mercy High School through making a donation to the 2020 Garnet Gala live and silent auction. More than 300 guests will join the celebration on March 27 at the Valley Mansion. We hope you will be part of the celebration and help us achieve our goal.
