Description

We are excited to announce that the Village Lutheran Church and The Chapel School’s annual fundraising gala - The Gathering of Friends will be held on St. Patrick’s Day, Friday, March 17, 2017, at 7:00 pm at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle. This is a fun and festive night out for parents, parishioners and school faculty all in the name of a good cause – raising much needed funds to support the programs and services that make the church and our school a vibrant spiritual and academic community.

In keeping with spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, this year’s theme is Love, Luck & Shenanigans a Plenty! The upcoming gala will showcase traditional Irish Step Dancers and offer attendees both tastes and drink from the Emerald Isle during the cocktail hour.

The popular Mclean Avenue Band (www.mcleanavenueband.com)will be on hand to entertain you throughout the sit down dinner and will then have you dancing well into the night. Please know that there will plenty of chances to try your hand at luck too, including a 50/50 raffle and both a live and silent auction. This year’s auction will feature many new itemsincluding very special works of art created by children in each and every grade, Pre-K through 8th.

The Chapel School (TCS) has been serving a wonderfully diverse community of families in Westchester and the Bronx since 1947, including students from Bronxville, Eastchester, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Scarsdale, Tuckahoe, White Plains and Yonkers. Our goal is to provide academic challenge and excellence, as well as character education and opportunities for social, emotional and spiritual growth in the safest and most nurturing environment. TCS students experience a state-of-the-art curriculum complete with the integration of the latest technology, but TCS teachers maintain a balance between what is most current and tested, proven teaching methods.
