My name is Meghan and I’m participating in 2024 Georgia 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. The Georgia Alliance for Breast Cancer (Formerly It’s The Journey) is a registered 501c3 non-profit that strives to support Georgia’s breast cancer community by raising funds to support breast health and breast cancer programs throughout the state!

 The Georgia 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer is their premier fundraising event. Since 2002, the Georgia 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer (formerly the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer) has raised over $19 million to fund 554 grants that provide breast cancer education, screening, early detection, support services, and continuing care for Georgians.

We have put together a team that will be walking 20 miles on Saturday and 10 miles on Sunday in downtown Atlanta the weekend of September 28-29.  

 I wondered if it was possible for you to sponsor our team or donate something for us to raffle off.  We can even put your logo on our shirts we are designing.

Our team is called Tutus for Tatas.  It’s a fun and girly name and members of the team have gone through this hardship either themselves or with family which makes this a very personal event close to all our hearts.

I totally understand that you might not be able to do this, but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask and I really appreciate you hearing me out.
