On November 6, 2021, a “double-chai* event” will take place - Gesher
Disability Resources 36th Annual Fundraising Gala.
* The Hebrew letter “chai” – meaning LIFE-- is valued at 18 in Jewish tradition, thus
making 36 “double chai.”
This year is a member-requested theme – Sports! The fundraising
committee has been brainstorming fun elements like Gesher Member
awards of “best teammate,” trivia for some rousing rounds of Kahoots!,
and - back by popular demand - is the “Gesher Silent Auction.” Friends
and guests will have the opportunity to bid online prior to as well as inperson at the November 6 event.
Join the team and help this outstanding community resource by
donating something to be part of the silent auction. In appreciation
for your donation valued at $100 or more, you will be acknowledged
with your company logo in the evening’s Tribute Book. Items like jewelry,
gift cards, fine art, and experiences are always appreciated by our event attendees.
The best part is your financial participation supports Gesher programs
and services that include highly qualified education professionals in
classrooms to special events for the disability community (at little to no
cost to participants).
