Description
This virtual workshop will introduce 5th-8th grade students to the college prep workforce while helping high school students prepare for life after high school.
Students will learn:
- The connection between college choice and career
- The benefits of academics and extra curriculars
- How to make college cheaper
- How to get quality teacher recommendations
- The importance of time Management
We want to increase engagement to ensure that students are able to connect the dots about the importance of preparing now for college by offering incentives for participation throughout the workshop (gift cards, vouchers to kid/family friendly places).
