We invite you to consider a donation for General Federation of Women’s Clubs NH (GFWC NH) 1st Annual Evening of Unity.  With one in five adults experiencing mental illness each year, and suicide as the second leading cause of death among people aged 10 to 34, we ask you to join us in raising funds and awareness for NAMI NH at our 1st Annual Evening of Unity. In just five years, the number of individuals served by NAMI New Hampshire has more than doubled, reaching an all-time high of 29,000 Granite Staters affected by mental illness and suicide.  Your support will help sustain NAMI New Hampshire’s critical support and education programs, as well as their advocacy efforts to ensure the Granite State continues on a path to a renewed and robust mental health system.  

NAMI New Hampshire is a grassroots organization working to improve the quality of life for all by providing support, education and advocacy for people affected by mental illness and suicide. Comprised of a network of affiliate chapters and support groups, staff and volunteers, NAMI NH provides information, education and support to all families and communities affected by mental illness and suicide.

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.  GFWC is one of the world’s largest and oldest women’s volunteer service organizations. 

We are reaching out to businesses in New Hampshire and asking them to help us with either a sponsorship or a donation for our silent auction. We also hope you will join us at the 1st Annual GFWC NH Evening of Unity, April 24, 2020, to be held at The Derryfield, Manchester, NH.  We will have entertainment as well as present the 2020 Unity award to recognize a NH champion in advocacy for people affected by mental illness.
