The Jackson Liberty Band Parents and Students Association (JLPSA) is a network of dedicated parents that supports the students and activities of the Jackson Liberty Marching Band.  In past school years, the band traveled to Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Florida, New York City, Atlantic City, Virginia, Boston and West Chester (PA) to participate in several parades, some Nationally televised, and that is in addition to competing and winning Tournament of Bands (TOB) NJ State Championship as well as the Cavalcade of Bands State Championship.

Membership in a high school band program requires dedication, time, and money. The students in the area feeding into Jackson Liberty High School come from varied demographics and backgrounds. Mr. Scott Katona, our band director, has done an excellent job keeping band fees low so that all students can participate. And, for another year we are NOT raising our fees, due in part of personal hardships caused by recent COVID-19 pandemic. Each year, instruments need repair and occasional replacement, music needs to be purchased, uniforms need repair and eventual replacement, and competitions can be costly. 

To help offset the cost of these fees, we are currently organizing a Gift Auction during our home competition, which is scheduled to take place on October 15, 2022 at the Jackson Liberty High School.  

We need your help!  The purpose of this letter is to respectfully request that your business consider donating a gift item or gift certificate to be used as a prize for our auction.  Any donation would be greatly appreciated!  All monies raised from this event will be used to support the students and our Marching Band program.  

The names of all donors will be listed in our Gift Auction Booklet as well as on the gift itself on the auction tables.  Any item you are able to donate can be mailed to:
