I am writing to you as the treasurer of the PTA of P.S.175 - The City Island School. As a school in her district we are hopeful to gain your support in our efforts to fundraise for P.S.175.
P.S. 175 is the only PreK-8 school on City Island. Due to our small community and various income sizes, the school currently does not get typical funding that most schools in the Bronx do. That said, the bulk of the fundraising falls on our PTA.
We are running our Glam, Glitter and Groove Card Party on March 14, 2025 at Scavello's on the Island and are hopeful to meet our fundraising goals through this event. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year
