Support Glen Park School’s Fundraiser Auction on March 22, 2025!

On behalf of Glen Park School’s PTO*, I write to kindly request your consideration of donating to our annual auction, which will be held in the center of the city at the San Francisco War Memorial Green Room at 40 Van Ness Avenue this year. In addition, we are planning a multi-day online auction prior to the in-person event, to bring even greater exposure and recognition to our valued supporters and local businesses.  

Glen Park School, belovedly known as “Big Blue”, is a K-5 elementary school in the Glen Park neighborhood within the San Francisco Unified School District, and has the honor of educating children in San Francisco for over 115 years. We strive to make our culturally and economically diverse school a place for children to flourish in their youth and to prepare academically and social-emotionally for the academic years ahead of them. 

As Glen Park School’s primary supporting organization, the PTO heeds our esteemed educators’ call to action to support learning. In recent years, the PTO has provided pivotal new and ongoing financial support for the following:

A school garden, chicken coop, and a garden educator position 
Additional hours for our school librarian 
StageWrite, a program that builds literacy through theater, provided to every grade level
A gift of one brand-new book for each child at the annual book fair, so that every child may have the pride of building their personal library, and none are left out

The teachers, staff, and, most of all, the over 300 children of Glen Park School would be thrilled with your generous in-kind donation to directly fund PTO projects like these.  It’s also a great way to promote your business to our school community.  As a 501(c)(3) public charity, your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
