Glitter and Gold Gala
Gala/Party for Saint Bridget SchoolOct 28, 2022 from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM
At Saint Bridget School, we focus on faith-based teaching in reading, writing, science,
and math, but we also know that so much learning happens outside the classroom. We
are so fortunate to live in an area rich in history, science, art, and religion. With this, we
look to our wider community for help in enriching our students’ education. Trips to
zoos, museums, Nature’s Classroom, historical and religious landmarks, and more give
students experience in the outside world. Visits from authors, artists, and scientists
bring real world experiences into our school. When 8th graders are asked at
graduation for their favorite memories, class enrichment activities are always noted as
having a positive and lasting impact on learning and on their experiences here at Saint
Bridget School.
Our mission drives us to educate the whole student. We feel strongly that every child
has the opportunity to experience the benefit that enrichment offers, but not every
family can contribute to the cost of these experiences. To accomplish this goal of
enriching the education of each child, we need your assistance. The costs of these
experiences are not covered by tuition and can be a hardship for families. For example,
the cost of a single bus for a field trip presently ranges from $400 to $800. Costs such
as these limit how many enrichment opportunities we can offer.
