The annual Global Gala, hosted by Global Learning Charter Public School, raises critical funds for the Global Scholarship fund. The Global Scholarship fund benefits students at Global Learning Charter Public School who plan on attending college after graduation. Many of the students at GLCPS come from low income families where the financial burden of higher education can often lead to a student not being able to afford a college education, preventing them from achieving their dream of obtaining a college degree.

Scholarships are also awarded to rising junior class students to attend summer programs at Brown University or the University of Glasgow. The Global Scholarship fund is essential for many GLCPS families, because these opportunities for the summer programs and higher education may not possible because of income limitations. All proceeds from the event including ticket sales, raffle, silent auction and live auction go directly to the Global Scholarship Fund.
